off to minnesota to see my family. i used that opportunity to go through ramona’s clothes: packed away the too-small items, donated the things she never wore, pulled out the goodies i forgot she had. i went a little overboard and coordinated a different outfit for each day, which is certainly not efficient packing (i only allowed myself four [mix-and-match] outfits for the eight days we’ll be gone). ah, well, there’s plenty  time yet to teach her how seasoned travelers do it.
vintage aqua knit cardigan: thrifted
vintage hand-dyed aqua onesie: thrifted (and a tad too small so this’ll be the last time she wears it!)
leggings: thrifted zutano
mary jane socks: trumpette
away we go!

“she’s my little french girl!” he kept exclaiming.

have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful.

the way i had dropped the diaper bag on the front bench caught my eye the other day.
i know that material stuff is not what a life should revolve around but i do love owning beautiful things.

melinda: lizzie and i spent some time on tuesday talking about how much we both love you and wish you lived closer! and how cute ramona and asher would be. also, my rule (as of now) for toys for ramona includes nothing that requires a battery or makes obnoxious noises. i’m sure it helps with the stimulation and imagination, as you say, but i also would go extra insane if those were in our tiny home!
claudia: thank you. we think she’s cute too! and i think i first discovered the leka via your blog. so hooray!

as if this etsy shop weren’t cool enough, now they have a kids section!
